2023 AT A GLANCE

In 2023, we celebrated Meso’s 25th anniversary and our
first full year back in the classroom. We introduced new
initiatives, including a Montessori program and sent
20 students to represent Meso and Guatemala in Maryland.

We saw growth across all our social business efforts. We
created our first Indigo classroom, adding this innovative
period to every grade. Our Pixel team expanded, enabling
us to contribute more to the foundation and school.
Additionally, we launched Meso Eats to provide clean,
nutritious food for students and teachers, reinforcing our
commitment to health and well-being.

The year ended with a new partnership and grant from
the Luis von Ahn Foundation, opening up opportunities for the future. Overall, 2023 was a year of learning, exploration, and deepening our commitment to our mission. It was another year dedicated to strengthening our roots and systems in the ongoing pursuit of a better Guatemala.
